With 99.56% of the vote counted, the Socialist Party has convincingly won the congressional elections in Lanzarote. The PSOE list, headed by María Dolores Corujo, had achieved 20,782 votes on the island with that count, compared to the 15,221 they obtained in the past elections. In percentage of votes, the socialists have obtained 36.34%.

At the end of the count, Corujo answered the call from Radio Lanzarote and declared: "The Canary Islands have shown that they are socialist, in the province of Las Palmas we have added 30,000 more votes than in 2019 and on our island we have swept without any contestation." The head of the PSOE list for the province of Las Palmas has highlighted that "the involutionary bloc of the right and the extreme right do not add up, with an unprecedented campaign, the campaign of lies, hatred and hoaxes, it has been shown that in this country we want to continue advancing."

For its part, the PP consolidates the second position on the island with a much larger result than it achieved in the past general elections. This 23-J, the populars have received 13,765 votes, 24.07%, compared to the 8,676 they achieved in November 2019.

Vox has once again achieved the third position, slightly increasing the number of votes it obtained in 2019. On this occasion it has obtained 7,597 votes, compared to the 6,745 it obtained in previous general elections.

With 6,515 votes, Sumar fails to reach the number of votes that Podemos obtained in the past elections in Lanzarote. The purple party then obtained 7,958 ballots.

Coalición Canaria repeats in fifth place as in the past general elections. The nationalists have lost about a thousand votes on the island, going from the 6,870 they achieved in 2019, although in coalition with the Canarian Nationalist Party, to the 5,961 they have obtained this Sunday.

Finally, Nueva Canarias, which has run divided from CC in these elections, has only obtained 1,457, which represents 2.54%.
