The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, confirmed this Monday that there will be a single transport pass for all of Spain.
According to what he explained during the end-of-year political course review before the Christmas holidays, it will be available from the second half of January and will cost 60 euros per month and 30 euros for people under 26 years old.
The pass will be available for users of medium-distance trains, commuter trains, and state-run buses.
However, Sánchez has called on **autonomous communities and city councils to integrate their transport networks into the state pass** to facilitate "access to public transport throughout the country for all citizens."
This subsidy was announced by the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, at the beginning of the year, but the plan was awaiting the finalization of the price and launch date.
