The president of the PP of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Astrid Pérez, has shown her "satisfaction" for the victory of the PP at the national level and the triumph obtained by Feijóo, who has managed to increase the results of 2019 by 47 deputies, reaching 136 representatives in the Congress of Deputies.
A victory that also adds to the one achieved in the Senate, where the PP has prevailed with 113 senators, 30 more than in the November 2019 elections.
These results, says Pérez, "confirm the PP as a benchmark for the center-right of our country." In our island, and despite not obtaining the Senate seat, the island leader of the Populars points out the "good role played by the candidacy of Jeziel Martín, who has managed to keep the PP as the second political force in Lanzarote."
Pérez highlights "how the division of the right-wing vote has favored the victory of the socialists on the island, although she highlights the improvement in results achieved by the PP in the two candidacies," which have increased by around 4,000 votes compared to 2019.
Astrid Pérez has announced that "the PP of Lanzarote will hold an Island Executive this Monday to assess the final results with the scrutiny already closed in all the ballot boxes."
