The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a yellow alert for this Tuesday and Wednesday in Lanzarote and La Graciosa due to coastal risks. Specifically, between 4:00 PM on December 16th and 4:00 PM on the 17th.

According to the Aemet forecast, the presence of waves with combined seas from the northwest and waves between four and five meters high is expected, both for Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

This alert has a probability of occurring between 40% and 70%, with a low danger level.

This forecast is added to the maximum alert situation established in the archipelago due to high seas throughout this past weekend, caused by the passage of Storm Emilia in the Canary Islands.
