The mayor of Haría, Evelia García, has redistributed the Government areas among the three councilors of the Municipal Platform of Haría, leaving the four councilors of the Canarian Coalition out of the distribution.
Evelia García makes this decision after the formation broke the pact with Coalición Canria, as La Voz advanced, after the non-appearance of councilor Armando Bonila in the inauguration Plenary of the new mayor. It should be remembered that García described Bonilla as "disloyal", and also announced that "she would not delegate areas to the councilor."
From now on, the mayor will manage the Festivities Area, in addition to the previous councilorships she directed, Education, Tourism, Youth, Culture, Crafts, Health, New Technologies and Animal Welfare, among other responsibilities.
For his part, the first deputy mayor, José Torres Stinga, will be in charge of coordinating Internal Regime, Finance, Human Resources, Employment, Urban Planning, Social Welfare, Local Police, Sports, Transparency and Heritage.
Finally, the second deputy mayor, Fernando Fontes, will manage the remaining councilorships, which are Mobile Park, Primary Sector, Environment, Parks and Gardens, Waste, Security and Emergencies, Commerce and Consumption, Sociocultural Centers, Conservation and Maintenance of Goods and Services and Transport.
García points out that, with this new distribution, “we want to start working now on improving Haría and demonstrate to the citizens our priorities for the rest of the legislature.”
