On December 17, the Royal Theatre of Madrid will be dressed in its finest to host the Annual Erasmus+ Dissemination Day, organized by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE). At this prestigious event, which will be attended by Ms. Diana Morant, Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, as well as various SEPIE officials, student Noel González Flores, from the Santa Maria de los Volcanes School, will be one of the main protagonists.

Noel will receive one of the 20 awards presented nationwide recognizing excellence in various educational modalities. His award, in the School Education category, highlights him as a brilliant example of achievement in long-term mobility.

An Ambassador of Collective Success

Noel's award is not just an individual achievement; it symbolizes the success of an educational model that firmly embraces openness to the world. His experience represents all students who have demonstrated exceptional maturity and adaptability, as well as the quality management carried out by the center's Internationalization Committee.

This recognition highlights the synergistic work of the entire school community to the highest educational authorities: from the Management Team that fosters internationalization, to the teaching staff that supports and accompanies, through to the fundamental role of partner schools abroad, whose welcome and collaboration make these transformative experiences possible.

A strategic commitment since 2021

Since the Santa Maria de los Volcanes School obtained Erasmus+ Accreditation in 2022, long-term mobility has been established as a strategic priority. The objective has been clear: to use these experiences as the project with the greatest impact to foster the internationalization of education, develop global competence, and strengthen European identity and Erasmus values among students.

The results support this strategy: in these 4 years, 22 students have successfully completed their mobility programs, and 9 more students will begin their European adventure this winter. Noel González embodies the success of this ambitious project.
