The supermarket chain HiperDino has implemented a second data center in Gran Canaria to “reinforce the high availability and security” in the continuity of the company's business.
This has been possible thanks to the company IdecNet, which has provided connectivity and data center services, as well as the investment of one million euros in information technology for the automation of part of the HiperDino logistics center in Telde.
Eduardo Prieto, IT director of HiperDino, and Juan Manuel Castellano, director of IdecNet, met to formalize this service, in order to create a safe space to store systems and data, as well as connect to the existing one in Tenerife with high-performance and speed lines.
“This second data center also allows us to balance data processing loads and be prepared for any inconvenience that may arise, as well as guarantee our activity”, explains Prieto.
For his part, Juan Manuel Castellano, wanted to thank for the trust placed in IdecNet and highlights "that a company like HiperDino has decided to trust us again, motivates us to continue working to continue with our policy based on investment in cutting-edge technology and focused on our customers”.
