A reader has contacted La Voz de Lanzarote to dedicate a few words of thanks to the workers of the Hospital Insular de Lanzarote, after her father was admitted to the health center.
In particular, she had words of thanks for Dr. Ruth Paz, who attended to her father during his admission.
Letter of thanks
There are no words to thank the staff of the Hospital Insular de Lanzarote for the treatment received during our father's admission.
Our father always told us that he felt like a king, that he rang the bell and three people came to see what was wrong, that he called maintenance and never had a problem coming to his room, that they helped him in everything he needed. In short, numerous displays of affection that made him feel at home.
I don't want to name anyone because I'm sure I'll leave someone out, but I do want to make a special mention to his doctor, Ruth Paz, because from the first moment she met him in consultations, they created that patient-doctor bond that never ended and never will. Thank you Ruth for the trust and affection you gave our father.
These are very hard times when you see a loved one fading away, and he continues with his same strength as always to fight and move forward, but thanks to the human team at the hospital those moments are carried out in another way, you don't feel alone for a second and always willing to lend a hand.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all very much and never lose the essence that characterizes you. Medicine cures, but human treatment also does, and sometimes more.
We do not want to end this small public recognition to the staff of the Hospital Insular, without mentioning his nephrologist Katia Toledo (Hospital Molina Orosa), who helped us so much during the years she was treating him. THANK YOU PAISANA, as he called her.
