Vueling will connect Lanzarote and Seville in the winter season

A reader has contacted La Voz to denounce what he claims is a “discriminatory attitude” on the part of the airline Vueling, by preventing him and his partner from accessing the plane without a mask, when he claims they have medical certificates that exempt them from using it.

The plane connected Lanzarote with Bilbao, and its departure was scheduled for 09:40 this Wednesday. The problem began, according to the man, when he and his wife presented the certificates to try to access the plane without a mask, and they were not accepted.

Finally, the affected party assures that at the foot of the plane they “agreed to put on the mask”. “We put it on, with the risk that it entails for our health”, he points out, noting that despite this they were not allowed to board either.

“It was the commander who did not let us get on. They told us that we had to have a PCR, when it is not mandatory to travel to Bilbao”, says this man, who filed a complaint with the airline.

“The company was warned of our physical condition. I request compensation and a quick response”, the complainant expresses in that claim.
