The facilities of the Arrecife Sports City will host the first KFC National Frontenis Open during the next days seven, eight and nine of July, which will bring together a total of 60 participating players. These are the best rackets in Spain that will compete for the national championship of the category. This event is the first of the national Olympic modality circuit to be held this year. The next event will take place in Las Chumberas in Tenerife.
There are cash prizes of 5,000 euros at stake for the Olympic ball championship, to be distributed among the eight best couples in the men's and women's categories. At the same time, a Territorial Pre-Olympic Tournament is being organized with the participation of Canary Islanders from lower categories, in this case, in the facilities of the Club Deportivo Fariones. For them, 700 euros are at stake.
