The race will start at 1:00 PM on the section called "El Cuchillo", with six scheduled runs, the first two in each direction as reconnaissance, while all times are added up for the classification.
In this race, the entire Lemes family will participate, as in addition to Samuel and Jonathan with the Ford Escort WRC, their father Francisco Lemes will participate with Francisco Medina as co-driver, at the controls of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI nº 3, as well as the youngest of the saga, Yeray Lemes, who will have the experienced Rogelio Peñate as co-driver, on the Seat Ibiza Cupra nº 17.
Samuel Lemes commented during this week that he was quite happy that there was a race in his homeland immediately after the conclusion of his national journey, "in order to meet with the fans of Lanzarote, to whom I would like to offer a beautiful show next Saturday." In this sense, he explained that this week has been emotional due to so many expressions of affection, so next Saturday he wanted to dedicate his performance to all those people who had supported him. Furthermore, he added, "the fact that the whole family is participating this weekend for the first time is something emotional, so we will try to enjoy it as much as possible."
