A great second half gives the victory to CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife

CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife kicked off the new season achieving a comfortable victory in their visit to Soliss Balonmano Pozuelo de Calatrava, in a match that was decided in favor of the Lanzarote team thanks to a great second half.

In the first half, the Lanzarote team couldn't break away on the scoreboard, and it was in the second half that they increased their defensive intensity to leave the Ciudad Real team without ideas. Both teams were imprecise in the first minutes of the game, paying for the nerves of the league debut.

CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife scored the first three goals from the seven-meter line, with Gema Trujillo (2) and Thalyta Almeida converting the shots. The local goalkeeper Paula Quiles began to do her thing, and Michaella Bocchieri culminated a quick counterattack to tie the score (6-6).
