The continuous inability of politicians to manage. Since the beginning of democracy, a perfect and constant behavior has been followed by all politicians without any exception, with a regularity that borders on the characteristics of a pathology: the inability to manage any administration, project or budget, which during all these years has caused an infinite hemorrhage of public money.
That is, the taxes, fees and withholdings of all kinds that we all pay every day in this country. My ambition has always been to pay a lot of taxes, because I think: Many taxes! The more taxes I pay, the higher my income will be, right?
I would also like to pay a lot of taxes in order to have all the comforts and needs covered for a pleasant life; so that health and education are
dignified and efficient; so that hospital staff receive a decent salary; so that teachers, the essential pillars of the future of our society, can carry out their work in good conditions. But it couldn't be like that.
The taxes we have paid have been used for many things, but not for those for which they should have been mainly intended.
We all get up to shout against corruption, but I am very sure that the amounts of money absorbed by corruption are not even a tenth of the money wasted. There are many ways to waste money, but I will highlight the two main ones: the first consists mainly of making wrong decisions due to incompetence, because you have been appointed to a position that does not correspond to you, but since you have behaved well with the potentates of your party, you receive your reward and nobody cares that you have no idea how the contraption that is
has been entrusted to you works. Someone will always come forward to justify your waste.
The second and surely the most shameful, is to use the tools that democracy has put at your disposal to obtain a totally personal benefit in a totally legal way: self-vote an undeserved salary; self-vote a salary increase; assign yourself a car and a functional accommodation; create councilor positions more useless than a motorcycle ashtray; fly in first class or even simply take unnecessary planes; vote for an item in the budgets to
create advisor positions that only serve to give work to colleagues; subsidize phantom associations; hire only companies that belong to you or that belong to members of your party; hire employees who are not at all necessary; vote for useless laws that will force citizens to buy a product that until today was unnecessary but that overnight is essential, enriching the manufacturer of said product as if he had invented the cure for cancer.
I am aware that I am not giving any concrete examples, but I have them and I
I keep them for the future in case I continue writing.
If we talk about cancer, this society has a very clear one: the political class. Composed mostly of sinister characters, who live off the work of others and who are not even able to understand that we pay them subsidies and that is why they should take care of us as if we were the most important thing they have BECAUSE WE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THEY HAVE: the workers who get up every day to fulfill their tasks; the entrepreneurs who are creating jobs; the employees of all types of administrations, schools, hospitals, universities, and police who have lost their papers because the legislators do nothing to help them with contradictory laws in which no one is clear anymore what is legal and illegal.
Be aware that if all these people stop participating in your game, you disappear, Mr. Politicians. We have suffered for almost eight long years the inherent ineptitude of all the ideologies that use the term "socialism" and now we have
to suffer the arrogance of a ruthless right, whose sole objective is to favor large entities, which in itself is not bad, since we need a powerful country with large economic structures, but not at the expense of the people and the most humble.
When the messenger on duty appears on my television screen with the hallucinated look of those who embrace duty as a monomaniacal and fetishistic religion, and who spreads the lies of the ALMIGHTY with that communicative warmth that is typical of an unfounded and contagious faith like syphilis; I get scared.
You could, Ladies and Gentlemen, start cutting where there is the most surplus, that is: through your ministries, juntas, generalitats, cabildos, town halls and other administrations whose uselessness can only be reached by the stupidity of their leaders. It seems incredible that no politician exercising power realizes that you cannot spend more than you earn and that this rule applies to all accounting mechanisms of
commercial companies, whether public or private.
The big difference is that if we manage our companies as mayors manage their town halls, for example, we end up in jail and lose all
our assets. On the other hand, nothing happens to this political class, permanently installed above the laws. In the worst case, a few days in prison or a fine that they will not pay for declaring themselves insolvent and disqualification from holding public office for a certain time. What a punishment! Some even continue to hold public office after being charged! And the worst thing is that only a few of the thousands who steal from us have to be held accountable.
How to change this inescapable situation? I'm afraid it's going to be very complicated. We have a very large political class on top of us, three times larger than in any other civilized country, to which, adding their wealthy families, powerful friends and vassals, will always find an air of legitimacy. Every society has its
decadence after its apogee and the decadence of the society in which we live is the amoral behavior of the political class as a whole, allied to the destruction of all the moral and educational rules that our ancestors had developed over centuries.
Maybe in a few years a smart guy, relying once again on the credulity of the people, will carry out another revolution process that will result in the same old thing: removing the one who is there to put himself in and continue the same eternal story.
The real problem, and this may not have a solution, is the incompatibility of the human race to live in harmony. We have settled into a cynicism that has taken away our desire to live in peace, seeking the common good, leaving aside our selfishness (attend any meeting of a community of owners and you will see what I mean) and even less with other different peoples.
There will always be one who wants to take advantage of the other, the strong of the weak, the tall of the small, the fat of the skinny, the intelligent of the idiot and that since the world is world. There is plenty of evidence that totalitarianism, communism or any
dictatorship of any color, are pyramidal systems that do not work and that only produce injustice, torture and bloodshed.
The democracy in which we live is nothing more than another type of dictatorship, well dressed and painted with honorability. Our democracy manipulates opinions as the most famous tyrants have done. If they don't shoot us, they squeeze us like lemons, if they don't gag us, they simply don't listen to our complaints, when we vote and choose a representative, he will betray us by breaking the promises and when an honest politician comes out of the crowd, he will end up corrupted or simply crushed by the own
abusive political system established.
Gentlemen Politicians of the left, of the right, of the center, of above or below who like to argue so much, do not worry. Paraphrasing Trotsky, I tell you that you will have eternity to continue doing so, in the garbage cans of History.
