The Tías City Council has published in the notice board of the Consistory and in the electronic headquarters at www.ayuntamientodetias.es the provisional list of admitted and excluded in the scholarships granted to students of the municipality.
The Councilor for Education, Tomás Silvera, informs that students have until May 25 to consult the provisional list and check if they appear on the list, if the amount granted is correct and if no error has been made. This year a total of 119 applications have been submitted.
Silvera recalls that these extraordinary aid for students based in the municipality are compatible with other subsidies and aid from other organizations or institutions.
Since 2019, the amount of aid to be received by each student has increased each year by 100 euros, so the maximum to be received in university studies outside the island amounts to 1,537.50 euros and the minimum reaches 990 euros. The maximum amount to be received in university studies on the island and training cycles outside the island amounts to 1,050 euros and the minimum reaches 600 euros; while the maximum for non-presential university studies amounts to 700 euros and the minimum is 400 euros.
