The government group of the Tías City Council presented today the program of events for the celebration of Christmas and the Three Wise Men, which will begin with the traditional lighting of lights on November 30, the day on which the Nativity scene of Tías will be inaugurated.
That night you can walk through the different corners of the representation of the Nativity in the Plaza de la Iglesia de San Antonio, which is already being prepared, the prizes of the Shop Window Competition will be awarded to the businesses of the municipality and the members of the Tías Music School and the Rachael Thompson Ballet School will perform.
Christmas is approaching with a program linked to crafts and the musical chords of local groups, which will perform in both Puerto del Carmen and Tías. In addition to the shows and musical performances planned, Santa Claus will visit Tías on December 19, the traditional Solidarity Tree will be celebrated on December 21, and the Puerto del Carmen Christmas race will be on December 28.
During the month, the Tías Youth Space, located in El Pavón Square, will be energized with different foosball, billiards, Fifa, basketball and DJ party tournaments, and in Puerto del Carmen, the Christmas Craft Fair in Plaza de las Naciones will stand out, with numerous craft booths, children's workshops and dance and music performances, among other events.
