The Tías City Council has asked the residents of the municipality to contribute ideas on the public use that can be given to the "Casa Seño Justo", a traditional Canarian building approximately a century old, restored by the previous Municipal Corporation in 2006. The idea was for it to function as an agricultural and wine museum, but it is currently closed to the public.
In this sense, the first deputy mayor of Tías, Jerónimo Robayna, also responsible for the Culture area, considered that "it should be the residents themselves who decide on the social use that can be given to this historic and emblematic property", located at Calle Candelaria, number 1, in Tías.
The building has been municipal property since 1998 and the councilor has encouraged all citizens of the municipality "to even contribute projects on the utility that can be given to it".
Those interested in contributing such ideas and projects can go directly to the Town Hall, located at Calle Libertad, number 50, in Tías, or contact the municipal telephone number 928 83 36 19 (extension 2203).
