Manuel Fajardo also clarifies that "we also request the declaration of Dimas Martín and María José Docal" as politicians who have passed through the Presidency of the Cabildo and therefore have also been part of the Board of Directors of Inalsa.
He also asks to hear the statements of the three Inalsa technicians, Fernando Pérez Vega, Fernando Castro and Juan M. Bethencourt, who signed the Verification Act of the Stakeout that modified the initial contract with the construction company, and which was key in the award that condemns Inalsa to pay almost 10 million euros. In addition, they request the statements of the workers Manuel Plasencia, the representative of the UTE Edam Janubio, Pablo Casilla and all the members of the Board of Directors of Insular de Aguas during the aforementioned five-year period.
The request was registered on the morning of Tuesday, July 4, in the INALSA secretariat. The letter also informs that the socialists have designated Pedro Viera Espinosa as a member of the Investigation Commission. To clarify the circumstances that led to the arbitration award, which condemns INALSA to pay nearly 10 million euros for breach of conditions, the PSC-PSOE of Lanzarote also requests all documentation regarding this matter.
According to the member of the Board of Directors of INALSA and general secretary of the PSC-PSOE of Lanzarote, Manuel Fajardo, "it is necessary to urgently but also rigorously determine the political responsibilities that may arise from this event and for this it will be necessary to listen to all those who, in one way or another, had a relationship between 2001 and 2005 with the direction and management of the public company".
