The Popular Party proposes Pancho Hernández and Angel Vázquez seconds for the Parliament and Cabildo

The conservative party is preparing its ranks for the elections on May 28.

The Popular Party already has two candidates to go in the number two on the lists of the Parliament of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo of Lanzarote and La Graciosa. Pancho Hernández has been chosen to go in this position to the regional Parliament, while Ángel Vázquez will go as second to the Cabildo. The popular ones advance in the process to make the candidacies of the party facing the next May 28.

Pancho Hernández has been proposed to accompany Astrid Pérez, head of the list to the Parliament for the island of Lanzarote. Hernández was mayor of Tías for two consecutive terms, from 2011 to 2019. Also, from 2019 to 2021 he was a non-elected councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote in the area of Transport and Mobility.

For his part, Angel Vázquez would repeat as number two of the candidate for the presidency of the Cabildo, Jacobo Medina. Vázquez has experience in the management of the first island institution, where he has had responsibility in different areas, including the Art, Tourism and Culture Centers, Tourist Promotion, Industry, Energy and Economic Promotion.
