The Municipal Platform of Haría criticizes that the road from Tabayesco to the Temisa crossing remains closed two years later. The political formation recalls that in October 2017 the precautionary closure of the road occurred as a result of landslides.

"We denounce the apathy of the Haría City Council, which has not urged the Island Council of Lanzarote to take measures to restore the transit of this infrastructure, which is currently divided into two sections, one from the Tabayesco crossing to Chafariz and the other from the Temisa crossing to Ecoaventura," they add.

The PMH recalls that this cut, which has been evolving for almost two years, affects not only the farmers in the area and the members of the Barranco Tabayesco-Norte pigeon breeding association, but also the large number of cyclists who frequented the area for training as well as in the popular "Subida de Haría".

Finally, they urge the representatives of the Consistory to "take measures in this protracted matter to restore communications in that area of the municipality." "Both CC and the PSOE are responsible for the apathy and deterioration of the road infrastructure of the municipality of Haría due to the lack of sensitivity to the needs of the northerners," they conclude.
