The San Bartolomé City Council and the Plaza del Carmen Bowling Club have reached a historic agreement for the free transfer to the council of the property of this socio-sports entity, which has a total area of three hundred and forty-eight square meters and that the Club has owned from February 1982 to the present day.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlights that “the heritage of our municipality is enriched thanks to this donation. We not only receive a property and real estate of great value, but we do so under the premise of continuing with its social legacy”. This gesture “reflects the vision” and the strong social commitment of the Plaza del Carmen Bowling Club.

The entity, given the current limitations to face the maintenance of its property, has made the decision to transfer it to the San Bartolomé City Council, understanding that the Corporation will be able to give it the appropriate use and prolong its service over time, thus guaranteeing its social character and well-being for the local population, so that the government team responsibly assumes the commitment to use these facilities for community purposes.

The Plaza del Carmen Bowling Club has played a fundamental role in the social and sports history of San Bartolomé, being a benchmark for generations of members who, over the years, have worked to preserve its essence and legacy. This club has been a meeting point, of union and development for the local community, which has been part of its identity for more than four decades.

This agreement reinforces the link between the public administration and local associations and guarantees that the legacy of solidarity, effort and passion for sport continues to be an engine for the well-being of the municipality.
