The board of the Federation of Parents and Mothers of the island of Lanzarote recognized "the collaboration and support" provided by Juan Cruz, during his time as head of the Island Directorate of Education, with an emotional event that took place in a restaurant in Playa Honda.
The Federation of AMPAS wanted to recognize the support received by the former island director in the "constitution, support for the training and participation of the different AMPAS of the centers of the island of Lanzarote and, in particular, the promotion of the Family Training program developed in all the municipalities and the Plan for early collection of children in the centers of the island".
The new president of the Federation of AMPAS of Lanzarote, Noelia Robayna Cejudo, was present at the event, who presented Juan Cruz with an original souvenir, which was also joined by the former president of the Federation, Emma Cabrera Toribio, current councilor of the Island Council of Lanzarote.
For his part, Juan Cruz said he was gratefully thankful for the recognition of the parents' sector "in shared times full of difficulties".
