The Canarian Center has held its Autonomous Committee this weekend in Lanzarote. In this session of the party, some of the most important candidacies that the CCN has chosen for the upcoming elections have been proclaimed. For Lanzarote, this formation has designated Rafael León as the head of the list to the Parliament for the island of Lanzarote.
The party also approved, during this Committee, several candidacies for the mayoralties of various municipalities on the island. In this way, Soledad Martín was presented as the ideal person to fight for the position of first mayor of the Arrecife City Council and Fernando Álvarez as the head of the list for the southern municipality of Yaiza.
The CCN also chose in Lanzarote the candidate for the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, which has unanimously fallen to the party's top leader, Ignacio González. He will also do a "double", as he will head the list for the Canarian Center to the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council.
