The Cabildo of Lanzarote has incorporated four new intercity bus lines, two of which have already started operating and the other two are scheduled to do so next week.

This is line 31 between Costa Teguise and Caleta de Famara, which will now pass through Playa Bastián, Pueblo Marinero and the Hotel Beatriz area, line 32, which will be called San Bartolomé interior, which will depart from Playa Honda towards San Bartolomé, El Islote, Masdache, Montaña Blanca, Güime and again San Bartolomé and Playa Honda.

A new line is opened, line 41, between Arrecife and the Zonzamas Day Center, in Tahíche, in addition to line 42 between the capital and the Puerto Calero roundabout, which is intended to be extended in the future towards Uga or Yaiza.

The Minister of Transport, Ramón Bermúdez, also announced this Monday improvements in the line between Arrecife and the airport, as there will be buses more frequently. All lines and their schedules can be found on the website arrecifebus.es.

On the other hand, Bermúdez highlighted that the voucher, which represents a saving of twenty-five percent compared to the ticket, will also be sold inside the buses, as well as in the Arrecife interchange and a vending machine will be placed in each municipality.

Bermúdez pointed out that the bus station works will be completed in mid-January and that a new work will be carried out to condition the platform area in which 210,000 euros will be invested. A new access lane to the Arrecife interchange from the LZ-2 will also be built, which will cost 60,000 euros.
