The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Security and Emergency Consortium, has put out to tender the health coverage service, with a permanent ambulance, for the town of Famara and the municipality of Tinajo.
Oswaldo Betancort values "positively" this news for the safety of Famara and Tinajo, and assures that the Cabildo of Lanzarote is working "at full speed" to expand the number of ambulances on the island.
“Both locations were unprotected in the urgent health field, and with this vehicle we will be able to guarantee a more effective and faster transport in the event of any emergency”, assures the president of the Emergency Consortium, Francisco Aparicio.

The president of the Cabildo also announces that La Graciosa is expected to have "a medicalized ambulance from September". "We will thus respond to a historical demand from the residents of the eighth island, who will soon have their permanent ambulance service 24 hours a day," says the president.
With this acquisition, the coastline that unites Teguise and Tinajo improves substantially in security, thus fulfilling the commitments of the Cabildo of Lanzarote to "improve the quality of life" of the residents of the area.
Currently, the process is in the bidding phase until next August 9 at 09:00 hours, for a total amount of 51,000 euros and a contract duration of six months.
