Four "large" dogs, probably of potentially dangerous breeds, entered the terrace of a house in Playa Blanca and killed a cat. The events occurred on Wednesday, the 27th, at around 8:30 a.m. and have been reported to the Yaiza Local Police and the Civil Guard.

According to the report filed with the Civil Guard, the events occurred in the Jardín de Yaiza urbanization in Playa Blanca. The owner of the house and the animal claims that the dogs "entered her terrace and attacked the cat, which was there." "They killed it, leaving the entire terrace full of blood and the cat dead there," the report states.

In addition, one of the dogs tried to lunge at the complainant, who tried to save her cat, but without success. The woman hid in her house "very scared" and called the Yaiza Local Police, who came to the scene.

The municipal officers, according to the report to the Civil Guard, "took the cat away in a plastic bag" and told the plaintiff, according to her version, that "the dogs were already at their home and they had located the owner."

The complainant did not know who these dogs might belong to, but stated to the Civil Guard that the Local Police did know. Precisely, the Yaiza City Council has confirmed to La Voz that the animals and the owner have already been located.

The Local Police will check the cards to see if these animals are registered and also what caused them to be alone and able to sneak into a house. After carrying out these investigations, the owner of the dogs could be sanctioned.
