The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, plans to bring forward his holidays in Lanzarote. Initially, the Spanish leader was considering arriving on the island on August 6, although La Voz has learned that he would land on the island days earlier than expected, specifically on Saturday, August 2.

As usual since he became president, Sánchez would again choose the residence of La Mareta, owned by National Heritage, to spend several weeks of August on the island. Between August 2 and 23 would be the days chosen by the Secretary General of the PSOE in Spain to disconnect with his family in this space by the sea in Las Caletas, in Costa Teguise.

According to the newspaper La Provincia, the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and the Catalan President, Salvador Illa, would also join this stay on the island. Last year, the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia strolled through the Haría market with the state president, as La Voz exclusively reported.
