Ciudadanos has denounced this Monday "the inability of CC to stop the economic bleeding of the strike of the Tourist Centers of the island", after learning that "they have failed again in their attempt to stop the indefinite stoppages". Some stoppages that this Monday are already seven days old and that keep the CACT closed.

"Perhaps CC should leave the negotiations with the Committee in other hands, since instead of putting out the fire it is dedicated to pouring more gasoline on the matter, thus worsening the situation", warns the councilor of Ciudadanos in the Cabildo, Benjamín Perdomo, after the latest statement by the Minister of Tourism, Echedey Eugenio, and the criticisms launched on Facebook by the president, Pedro San Ginés, against the Business Committee.

In addition, Perdomo has reproached "the ineptitude" of the councilor "to reach a consensus with the workers and comply with the ruling" of the TSJC that gave the workers the reason, regarding the payment of salary supplements included in the agreement. In this regard, the councilor warns that this "is costing the people of Lanzarote thousands of euros" with each day that the strike lasts.

For all these reasons, he has requested that "an agreement be reached on the form of payment of the 1.5 million claimed by the Strike Committee", and that "it be divided into several payments so that it does not represent an imbalance in the company's accounts".
