The Island Association of Hotel and Apartment Businessmen of Lanzarote has programmed several new totally free courses aimed at hospitality and tourism workers, as well as for those people who are registered in the Canarian Employment Service and wish to join the labor market in the tourism sector.
The new ASOLAN course will be about Public Relations and Business Protocol and will be taught at the Tahíche Hospitality School, thanks to an agreement between the Board and the association chaired by Francisco Armas.
With this subject, it is desired to prepare workers to know the different Public Relations and Protocol actions, as well as their application in the business field and in the organization of events inside hotel complexes. The course, with limited places, will take place between September 22 and October 3 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Those interested should contact ASOLAN at its new offices in Puerto del Carmen (Calle Suiza, 15, with the telephone 928 516025) to register.
Upcoming courses
Parallel to the organization of this specific course, ASOLAN will also teach other courses in Purchasing and Supplier Selection. A course will also be taught aimed at kitchen staff, where they will be taught how to prepare special menus for celiacs, offering them training on permitted foods and how to prepare them.
