The Popular Party in the Tías City Council has echoed the complaints of merchants and residents who are affected by the absence of the crane service in the afternoon and evening, which, apparently, is offered by an external company. According to the PP, this situation is motivated by the "repeated non-payment of the contract price to the company and the debt that is dragging on with it, exceeding 50,000 euros".
They also believe that the lack of payment is incomprehensible considering that "all the services provided by the company are charged by this entity to each of the owners who go to the municipal depot to collect their vehicle after being removed from the public road, since the vehicle cannot be removed from such depot without prior payment of municipal fees".
In addition to denouncing the lack of economic resources and the deficient payment management of the Government group, they highlight the damages caused to users. These are being prevented from using the reserved parking areas for loading and unloading goods and parking reservations to access their homes, as described by the PP. Local Police officers "cannot order their removal because they do not have a crane service in the afternoon and evening", although in the morning they have the municipal crane service.
The PP has also extended the criticisms to the deterioration of the canopies installed at the bus stops in the municipality, which, according to the PP, show the economic situation of the City Council. Similarly, the popular denounce that a municipal public bus transport service has been established, which is intended to be expanded "without it having been operating for a year", but that still "the corresponding canopies have not been built or installed in a significant number of stops along the route".
