The Fairground was the setting for the XXVI edition of the Farmers' Festival, which brought Los Bimbaches from the island of the Meridian, led by the Lanzarote timple player, Benito Cabrera, and Domingo Rodríguez "El Colorao" from Fuerteventura. The group that bears the name of the Festival, Los Campesinos, was in charge of closing the evening with a flourish, in which an exaltation was made to the tradition and music made in the Canary Islands.

The first to perform were the members of Los Bimbaches with the show The island of the new world, directed by the timple player and folklorist from Lanzarote, Benito Cabrera. A performance that was an emotional and artistic review of some of the emblems of El Hierro, such as the Orchilla lighthouse, Armiche, the savinas, the Pozo de la Salud, emigration, the descent of the Virgen de Los Reyes or the Zero Meridian, through the dirges and tango, the Baile del Vivo, the mazurka, the Ballad of the Wind, or the berlina, among others.

Later, Domingo Rodríguez 'El Colorao' took to the stage. The timple of the majorero moved the audience with the interpretation of compositions attached to the musical roots of the land.

Finally, the hosts, Los Campesinos, presented their latest album, From Lanzarote. With a trip to the musical and dance genres of the island of volcanoes, but renewed from tradition, the members of Los Campesinos offered the public their Fulgida luna, the Isa del campo, the Folías al vino, the Zaranda campesina, Yo vi a Calixto, La enamorada, Seguidillas, the Sorondongo, Malagueñas and their Zaranda del viento.
