Ten months ago, Orlando Guadalupe Hernández, disabled and a seller for the Once in La Graciosa island, submitted an authorization request to install a tobacconist's where he could sell coupons. However, the Canary Islands Port Service, which was the recipient of the request, denied the proposal to install a tobacconist's on the esplanade of the Port of Caleta del Sebo.

"Due to my physical condition, I have already suffered several falls while trying to move around the town," says Orlando, explaining that is why he had requested the installation of a small tobacconist's where he could sell his coupons.

Furthermore, he assures that he has seen "how a prefabricated construction has been authorized and installed for a private company", for which he affirms that he feels "discriminated against by this public body, since it seems that for the Canary Islands Port Service we are not all equal, and some have more rights than others to use the port area under its jurisdiction".
