The IV Wedding and Celebrations Fair 'Sí Quiero Lanzarote' will be held from November 8 to 10 in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park in San Bartolomé and will feature the presence of 50 stands.
The event was presented on Monday morning in front of the Castillo de San José facade with decoration by Edecor and with the presence of the president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, the CEO of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo, Juan Félix Eugenio, the Councilor of Industry of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Ariagona González, the mayor of San Bartolomé, Álexis Tejera and the councilors of Tourism and Commerce of the Consistory, Mamadou Yero Sy Cisse and María Dolores Fernández.
The president of the Island Council, María Dolores Corujo, welcomed the media and authorities and stressed the importance of celebrating this IV Edition of the Wedding and Celebrations Fair of San Bartolomé. "A fair that has already established itself as one of the most important wedding events in the Canary Islands" and that "has grown considerably in visitors," said Corujo, who acknowledged "the work of the local fashion sector, always at the forefront of technologies and trends to be leaders."
Likewise, the president of the Cabildo thanked Oswaldo Machín "for his commitment", as well as the City Council of San Bartolomé and the councils of the Cabildo involved "in this firm commitment to the professionals of the sector". "It is a pride to see how it translates into opportunity for local, island and regional companies and designers," she said.
The Tourist Centers, present at the fair
For his part, the CEO of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism, Juan Félix Eugenio, stressed that the Cabildo was present in the three previous editions of the fair and that in this one the Centers will have a stand to promote themselves as a tourist reference and space for holding weddings and events. "This year a total of 37 weddings have been held in the Centers, and it is increasing," said Eugenio, who believes that "this fair is important at a business, tourism and promotion level."
"It is a pride to have witnessed several editions of 'Sí Quiero Lanzarote', its growth in exhibitors, visitors and quality, becoming an island and regional exponent," said the Councilor of Industry of the Cabildo, Ariagona González, who highlighted "the catwalk of the fair, a showcase of fashion in which the Lanzarote Moda collective has been working for months to show the best creations."
"From the area of Industry of the Cabildo, a great work has been done to place the textile and island fashion sector in a good position and with high projection. This fair will be a clear example of this," said González, who congratulated the local designers and those who come from other islands, as well as the multi-brand companies that sell fashion and accessories within their establishments. "In this fourth edition we have an attractive program with more than 50 exhibitors from several islands that will fill San Bartolomé with the best fashion and trends in the sector," she added.
A fair that "surpasses itself in quality and expectations"
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Álexis Tejera, expressed the "importance and pride" for the municipality as a host town of 'Sí Quiero Lanzarote'. "The importance of this fair lies in this sector in full growth and of which the municipality of San Bartolomé is a pioneer, due to the implementation of companies dedicated to everything that entails a wedding or a great event, and because we have important and beautiful public and private spaces in which to hold first-class celebrations and companies specialized in everything necessary for any celebration that perfectly combine with the large spaces to celebrate, full of charm," he said.
For Tejera, "the fair each edition surpasses itself in quality and expectations, having greater projection" being his wish "that in the near future it will be a reference of the sector at all levels."
Likewise, the mayor of San Bartolomé congratulated "the companies that have opted for this growing and constantly changing sector, to make each event something unique, especially the companies of the municipality that have taken care of their business and have had the vision to give projection to the spaces and to the bridal products and everything related to celebrations". Álexis Tejera also had words of congratulations for the organization, collaborators, sponsors, for Cabildo for its involvement in this Fair, to the councils of commerce and tourism, companies and entities, encouraging to get married in our municipality, in San Bartolomé, and what better time than the fair to know the trends of the sector.
Stands, parades, musical performances, showcooking and tastings
The City Council of San Bartolomé, through the areas of Tourism and Commerce, Cabildo of Lanzarote, Lanzarote Moda, Turismo Lanzarote, Graficame and CICAR organize this fair where you can find "everything you need for a wedding or celebration to become a special and unique event in a single venue".
'Sí Quiero Lanzarote' will be held in the venue installed in the Félix Rodríguez Park on the 8th (from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.), 9th and 10th of November (from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.), where there will be a total of 1,300 meters destined to this celebration, and will have more than 50 exhibitors that will move from different parts of the archipelago. Hotels, wedding planners, Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and private spaces that host celebrations, restaurants and catering, fashion companies, photographers, djs, beauty companies, stationery, pastry, travel agencies, details, gifts, accessories and jewelry will meet to show their services.
Within 'Si Quiero', the catwalk of the fair stands out, in which the collections of the "most cutting-edge" firms of the national bridal sector will be shown, as well as regional designers such as Diazar (Isla Bonita Moda ? La Palma), Juan Carlos Armas (Tenerife Moda), Azu Vila, María Cao, Marga Mod, Ángel Cabrera and Oswaldo Machín (Lanzarote Moda), who will offer in the 'kissing room' prepared thanks to Tía María and Disaronno.
In this new edition, the exhibition space will be expanded by more than 400 square meters, divided into exhibition area, chill out terrace area and parade areas. In addition to stands and parades, there will be musical performances, showcooking, or tastings. The fair will also have a children's playroom to facilitate families visiting the facilities, while the youngest of the house enjoy playing.
Meeting of bloggers and 'influencers'
Also, on the day of the inauguration will be held a meeting of bloggers and influencers at regional level, who will know firsthand the latest trends in fashion, decoration for events and everything that will be exhibited at the Fair
As an important detail, from the City Council of San Bartolomé it is highlighted that this year the access to the fairgrounds will be with the donation of 1 euro in favor of Sara, protector of animals and plants of Lanzarote.
