The Canarian comedian Manolo Vieira decided to leave the stage of Argana Alta last Saturday due to constant sound problems. The Canarian humor festival, which also featured characters from the En Clave de Ja program and Kike Pérez, was not what the public expected due to the difficulties experienced in this sports hall. Many attendees, who also left the venue, have called the show a "failure" due to organizational problems.

Thus, many people have wanted to leave their complaint in La Voz about the organization of the show. "The screens went off, the sound went away, suddenly, it came and rumbled in such a way that nothing was understood," criticizes a spectator.

And according to Raquel Negrín, the public could only watch the match of Spain against Paraguay on a "small screen and with a low-quality image, not to mention the sound, which very few attendees perceived." And this has also caused controversy, as the festival delayed its start and postponed it to the end of the World Cup match, a fact that did not sit well with part of the public.

In addition, in principle this show was going to be held at the Arrecife Fairgrounds and, suddenly, the location was changed "without giving much information," according to a spectator.

According to people who went to see the Canarian humor festival, the problems began with the comedian Kike Pérez, who was forced to leave the stage early due to sound problems. "You couldn't hear anything because the sound rumbled and echoed. Even with the complaints of the attendees, Kike continued, but no matter how much he wanted to, he couldn't be heard," says a member of the audience.

And the problem was not solved with the entry of Manolo Vieira, who left Argana Alta with great anger. In this sense, Vieira decided to leave the pavilion not without saying that "the public deserved respect, and if they are not respected, I end my performance."

In this way, he said goodbye, said good night and decided to leave the stage. Likewise, there were people from the public who, after having paid the entrance fee, felt disappointed by the sound problems and also left the pavilion.

They ask for the money

"We don't know if they are going to give us the money or if they are going to repeat the show in another place," laments an attendee. And this doubt remains in the air, since many wonder if they will really be able to enjoy this show or if, on the contrary, they have had to settle for part of a performance full of difficulties. Another of the spectators now wonders what can people who saw the festival interrupted do and asks that measures be taken in this regard.

Another spectator, Samuel Martín, assures that "what seemed to be a night of Canarian humor in the sports palace in Argana Alta ended up being a night of tension and bad taste for all attendees."

It is not the first time that a show in Argana Alta has problems. Thus, several days ago, the comedian Berto Romero also had difficulties for the public to hear his monologue.

The mayor acknowledges the error

The mayor, Cándido Reguera, has also criticized this show and has assured that the City Council will not give the Argana Alta pavilion again if "the acoustics are not guaranteed." "This was not organized by the City Council, it was organized by a company, we only collaborate. But I have already contacted them to repeat the act in conditions," said the mayor, who has asked the public to keep their ticket.

The mayor has assured that he does not know the reason why it was decided to change the location of the show, although he has indicated that it could be because the Fairgrounds lacked "stands."

The mayor has insisted that he is aware of the sound problems that occurred and has assured that they will have to be "solved."
