Lanzarote has added 59 new cases of Covid in the last day, despite the fact that the number of tests carried out has decreased again. And, this Wednesday, only about 300 PCRs were carried out compared to 470 the previous day, when 53 positives were reported, or the more than 700 that were carried out in previous weeks, when the highest peaks of diagnoses were recorded.
As for active cases, they have stood at 929, since 51 discharges have also been reported in the last few hours.
Also, despite the increase in daily infections, the accumulated incidence has decreased again, being 252.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days and 648.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.
Until this Thursday morning, there were 54 patients with Covid admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital, of which 21 were in the ICU.
