Julio Romero will continue two more years as president of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife

It was the only candidacy that was presented to the electoral process of the society

Julio Romero Ortega will continue as president of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, as no other candidacy was presented to the electoral process launched by the society on October 13.

According to the RCNA, voters were called to vote last Friday, November 13. However, as only one candidacy was presented, the appointment with the ballot box was not held.

The electoral board, chaired by Pedro Ferrer Espino, certified on November 14 the proclamation of Julio Romero as president and his board of directors to begin a new two-year term at the head of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife.

Romero Ortega first came to office in 1986, remaining in it until 1990. In a second stage, he returned to the presidency in 2013 until today. After the new period that begins now, it is already 11 years at the head of the management of the RCNA that is renewed until November 2022.

The new board of directors that will take office in the first half of January 2021 also includes Felipe Brito Cañada as vice president, Antonio López-Socas Perera as secretary, Eduardo Lasso González as vice secretary, Sonia Fajardo Villalobos as administrator, Juan José Roa González as treasurer, Estanislado Bethencourt Carrasco as commodore, and Félix Eduardo Cabrera Fernaud as sports coordinator. Clara Isabel Garcés Pérez, Gemma María Pulgarín Sauras, Carlos Cañibano Vizcaíno and Francisco Javier Placeres González are listed as members
