José Francisco Medina Martín, a native of Lanzarote from the municipality of Tinajo, has been recognized as the Revelation Chef of the Canary Islands 2022 in the “Qué Bueno Mahou” awards.
This has been made public by the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, who wanted to publicly congratulate Medina on behalf of the entire City Council.
José Francisco Medina Martín, Paco Medina to those closest to him, is one of the helmsmen of the Alarz restaurant, located in the Arrecife Gran Hotel in Arrecife.
“Paco Medina is another example of the great talent in multiple fields that Tinajo has offered for many years. For our municipality, it is a pride that a high-flying Tinajero cook continues to grow and, above all, his career is recognized. I want to congratulate him publicly, on behalf of the entire city council and his hometown. It is a pride for all of us that he continues to carry the name of Tinajo to the top wherever his good work in the kitchens reaches," the mayor said.
