The National Police is investigating two alleged "prickings" of two minors at the concerts organized this Sunday in the Parque Islas Canarias on the occasion of the San Ginés festivities, although for the moment it is believed that they were only trying to scare the victims.

According to reports from the Arrecife City Council to La Voz, the two affected girls first went to the Arrecife Local Police officers, while the concert was being held, to report that they had received a "pricking in the arm".

After being alerted, they transferred both girls to a Health Center, and this past Monday one of them went to the National Police to report what happened. The complainant, 16 years old, told the agents the same thing she told the Local Police, and also pointed out that a friend of hers had suffered the same.

However, the National Police believe that the possible perpetrator or perpetrators only intended to create alarm, imitating the practice that is being suffered in other parts of Spain, in which they inoculate the victims with some type of drug with a syringe. In this case, however, the affected women “did not have any signs of chemical submission.”

The National Police believes that the aggressor could have carried out the "prickings" with a kind of "pin", although it continues to investigate what happened, to try to find the perpetrator of the events.
