The premises of the Coros y Danzas de Arrecife association suffered an assault last weekend. The thieves managed to take a laptop and a music system. According to Santiago Torres, president of the group, "apparently the neighbors heard noise" in the early hours of Friday to Saturday, but when they looked out they did not see anyone, so they believe that the assailants fled.
However, they suspect that they may have tried again the next day, because this Monday they had an unpleasant surprise when entering the premises. "When we came to rehearse we found the light on, we entered the secretariat and everything was upside down, they had thrown everything, destroyed the showcases and took the laptop with more than a thousand photos and a music system", Torres laments,
The members of the association called the National Police, who sent agents to the place to take fingerprints and start the investigation. "We don't know if they have taken documents or something else because we haven't had time to look closely at what they have done. Fortunately, they did not enter the room where we have the dresses and they did not take the instruments either", explains the president, who believes that the robbery was finally consummated in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday and that the assailants entered through the roof.
