Some assailants broke into the Yaiza soccer field last Saturday, this being the second robbery suffered by the facility in less than three months. In addition, the thieves fled with a vehicle from the Department of Sports, which appeared this Tuesday in a dump in Argana Alta with some minor defects.

According to La Voz, the assailants accessed through the bar of the soccer field. Once inside, they rummaged inside the canteen with the aim of stealing the money that was there, although the cash register was empty. They also destroyed the vending machines, which lacked collection, in addition to breaking some doors and material of the sports facility.

It is not the first time that this has happened, since last December the soccer field suffered another similar episode. In that case, in addition to destroying the vending machines, they also entered the offices of Sports, Festivities, Justice of the Peace and Social Services.

In addition, the modus operandi is similar to that suffered by another sports facility, in this case the Insular Center for Nautical Sports of Arrecife, on Thursday of last week. There they also broke the vending machines to take the collection, in addition to rummaging through the documents of the building and causing numerous damages.
