Agents of the Citizen Security and Intervention Unit (USCI) of the Local Police of Arrecife arrested S.B, 34 years old, on Monday night for an alleged crime of drug trafficking.
According to the USCI itself, the detainee was surprised by agents of the unit when he was carrying 5 wrappers of cocaine, 945 euros in fractional cash and 2 mobile phones.
In addition, within the special operation that the Arrecife Local Police unit is carrying out, this Tuesday morning they have also proceeded to the arrest of a 20-year-old young man, against whom there was an arrest warrant issued by the Investigating Court Number 2 of Arrecife for robbery with force.
These arrests occur within the special device that the Local Police is carrying out from December 20 to January 5, on the occasion of the Christmas holidays. During this time, the police force will reinforce the shifts "in the places with the highest concentration of people, shopping centers, downtown area and spaces with high agglutination of events and people".
