The fire that broke out on Thursday morning in a Chinese restaurant in the Punta Limones Shopping Center, in Playa Blanca (Yaiza), has already been extinguished. This was communicated to La Voz by the manager of the Security and Emergency Consortium, Esteban García.
The incident occurred around 7:50 a.m., when the fire broke out in the restaurant's pergola, which has been completely burned down.
The flames have also affected two other neighboring premises. One on the upper part, whose facade has been affected by the fire, and the other, adjacent to the restaurant, where the flames have reached the wood that separates the terraces of one and the other premises. And, the existence of wind caused the fire to spread more quickly and the extinguishing work was hampered.

The area has already been opened to traffic, after agents of the Civil Guard, the Local Police and Firefighters had cordoned off the area. Likewise, the rest of the premises that have not been affected by the flames have already been able to open their doors, although, until 12:00 hours, the security forces were still inspecting the scene of the events.
