Several Civil Guard patrols carried out an intervention this Tuesday in three abandoned complexes in Costa Teguise, identifying around twenty people who have occupied the facilities.

The action was carried out following a complaint from the owner of one of these tourist complexes, whose construction was halted years ago without ever being completed. Since then, homeless people have settled in that "skeleton" and others at the entrance to the tourist town.

In addition to going to that building under construction, agents have also inspected two other complexes. The interventions have been carried out on Avenida del Mar, Calle Aulagas and Calle Adelfas, to investigate alleged crimes of usurpation of real estate.
