The house in Puerto del Carmen that caught fire on Saturday afternoon suffered a new fire in just over 24 hours, in which its owner was rescued again from inside the property and evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
After being alerted by the Cecoes at around 11:27 p.m. this Sunday, the firefighters went to the property, located on Zonzamas street in the town.
According to the Emergency Consortium, when the firefighters arrived at the scene, Local Police and Civil Guard were already there, who took the owner out of the house, with the health services taking care of her. The 84-year-old woman was transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital with an anxiety crisis.
Immediately afterwards, the firefighters located the source of the fire and it was extinguished with water. In addition, the house was sealed with flanges and barricade tape, given that it was disabled by the fire the previous day, in which the owner was also rescued from the property and transferred to the Hospital for smoke inhalation.
