National Police officers have dismantled one of the most important criminal organizations, dedicated to drug trafficking and money laundering in the province of Las Palmas, which operated from the island of Lanzarote.
The police investigation began in June 2024, when a person residing in Gran Canaria was arrested in Lanzarote after collecting a package containing narcotics. From this finding, a police operation was set up, consisting of several phases, in which 4 entries and searches were carried out in homes, seizing 96 kg of cocaine, 3 kg of amphetamines, 1 kg of crystal meth, 1 kg of heroin, 60 kg of hashish, 100 gr of pink cocaine, high-end vehicles, a Rally vehicle and more than 53,000 euros in cash.
The police action allowed the identification of the recipients of the drugs and the dismantling of the criminal structure.
The operation lasted approximately 10 months, ended in April 2025 and resulted in the arrest of twenty people, the seizure of various narcotics whose value on the illegal market would exceed 4 million euros.
