A person was rescued this morning from inside a house where a fire had broken out. The incident took place at approximately 4:45 a.m. this Sunday on Bolivia Street in Arrecife.

Local Police officers and firefighters from the Consortium were dispatched to the scene, and they had to force the door to gain access inside. In addition, since the house was on the second floor, the firefighters simultaneously used the aerial ladder to enter through the facade of the rear of the building.

Once inside, they located a person "disoriented and with symptoms of smoke inhalation", who was evacuated from the house and attended to by personnel from the Canary Emergency Service, who were responsible for their transfer to the Molina Orosa Hospital.

For their part, after verifying that there were no more people inside, the firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire, which had a total of three outbreaks: one of them on a sofa in the living room, another in the kitchen and a third in the bathroom. Afterwards, they were in charge of ventilating the house and collaborated with the Local Police to check the property before ending the service.
