A 30-year-old man fell on Friday night into an interior patio of the Virginia Oasis community, in Playa Blanca, when, supposedly, he was trying to access an uninhabited apartment for reasons that are still unknown. The victim, immediately transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife, was attended by the Local Police and Civil Protection of Yaiza. According to reports from technicians, he presented a strong head trauma, facial trauma, and possible fracture of a clavicle, the result of the fall from about 3 meters high.
It was a few minutes after midnight last Friday when the Local Police of Yaiza received a call from some neighbors, alerting of the presence of a man "at the bottom of a patio". Immediately, two agents of the Local Police of Yaiza and a rescue team of Civil Protection, coordinated by the southern Security Councilor, Miguel Ángel Cáceres, moved to the aforementioned urbanization, proceeding to the location of "a male close to 30 years of age, who repeated the name of Andrés, and who presented a strong blow to the back of the head". Agents of the Civil Guard and troops of the Red Cross also participated in the rescue tasks.
Once transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital of Arrecife, the Local Police of Yaiza opened the pertinent file to clarify the causes of this incident.
