The Folklore Group Coros y Danzas de Arrecife has lost one of its members, Doramas Padrón, who was only 18 years old and has died suddenly. "He leaves a void that will be very difficult to fill," says the president of the group, Santiago Torres, in a note of condolence.
In addition, the board recalls that Doramas was the son of two other members of Coros y Danzas, Agustín Padrón and Lucía Rodríguez. "From the bottom of our hearts, we give our unconditional support to his parents and family in these sad and difficult times", continues Torres in the note sent on behalf of the board.
"And to you, Doramas, wherever you are, know that we will never forget you. You will always be among us and we will remember you with much, much affection," concludes the president.
The young man had been transferred to the Hospital of Gran Canaria, where he finally died, and on the afternoon of this Monday he will be transferred to Lanzarote.
