Canal Gestión Lanzarote has sent a statement to warn of a possible fraud by people who are allegedly posing as employees of the company to sell a supposed device to improve water quality. According to its press release, there are "certain unidentified people who have been contacting by telephone in recent weeks to arrange appointments at home, posing as staff of this company, in order to sell and install devices in Lanzarote homes that improve the water supply".
From Canal Gestión Lanzarote, which has become aware of these events through complaints and notices made by its own subscribers, wishes to "alert and recommend to the population in general to take extreme precautions and be prudent in the face of possible deceptions of these characteristics". Thus, it emphasizes that Canal Gestión Lanzarote "does not have, nor will it have a service such as the one described, given that the water supplied is suitable for human consumption, complying with all the sanitary controls that are established by Law".
In addition, the company makes available to customers the telephone number of Customer Service 928 81 44 00, "for any questions or queries that you want to make in this regard".
