Agents of the National Police of the Arrecife Police Station have arrested in the capital a 21-year-old man, of Dominican nationality and without a criminal record, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force. The arrested man, whose initials are E.B.G., stole an audio system from inside a vehicle that was parked on a street in the capital and later sold it in a second-hand store. The owner of the stolen equipment found it and notified the police officers.
The events were triggered after the victim's complaint in which he stated that when he went to his vehicle, parked on a road in Arrecife, he found the door broken and the audio equipment missing. Several days later, the man located the item for sale in a second-hand store in the capital, so he notified the agents.
The police officers went to the establishment, seized the equipment and handed it over to its owner. The police investigations allowed to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrator of the events. Once the police report was prepared, it was sent to the competent judicial authority.
