As reported yesterday by the armed institute through a press release, an individual entered her home, tying the victim's hands behind her back, hitting her and forcing her to open the safe.
The offender seized several gold jewels and cash, all worth approximately 6,000 euros. The elderly woman was assisted at the General Hospital of Lanzarote, presenting several bruises on her face.
The Judicial Police Team of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise investigated these facts, managing to locate and arrest the alleged perpetrator, J.L.L.P. of 51 years, last Thursday, who was brought to justice in the Arrecife Duty Court.
